My name is Rick Glenn and I was born on April 12, 1989. I grew up in small-town Marshalltown, IA. At the age of 14, I had a vision of someday becoming a professional fighter. My Uncle Mickey Glenn was a boxer, and he inspired me to always train hard ...if I wanted to fulfill my vision of becoming a great boxer. As time went by I had a few amateur boxing matches and I soon realized I wanted to broaden my fighting skills by training and learning Martial Arts.
At 16 years old I started my Martial Arts training with my friend Allen Hernandez in the basement of his home. It didn't take long until I realized I was living my vision and was embarking on a life-long quest. In order for me to continue on my quest I knew that I needed to take the next step in my training and I joined the "Des Moines Jiu Jitsu Academy" in Des Moines, Iowa. Soon after I started my training in Des Moines it was brought to my attention that I should step up and concentrate on improving my striking skills. I put my nose to the grind stone and actually started another commute, but this time it was to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where I also started training at the "Hard Drive Mixed Martial Arts Academy."
I had my first Amateur Mixed Martial Arts fight at the age of 17 and it soon led to many more fights throughout Iowa over the next couple of years. As I continued to improve, I finally got what I was working towards, my first professional MMA fight! It seemed surreal that my vision of being a professional fighter had just began. On August 16, 2008 many of my dreams and visions came true; and I was married to the love of my life, Jenny Landas Glenn.

In 2011 my wife Jenny and I took the next big step in my fighting career and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I've been training for the last year under Duke Roufus at "Roufusport Martial Arts". I'm blessed and honored to be able to train with the likes of Anthony Pettis, Erik Koch, Ben Askren, Allen Belcher and several other great Mixed Martial Arts Fighters.
Wherever my visions lead me in life, I will always remember: "The Next Step Is Just The Beginning Of What's To Come"...
